The MTM® No-Trace System is effective in minor tooth movement. The following cases can be treated with this system, provided they are minor and can be treated without having to treat the entire arch or the malocclusion:

  1. Crowding

    Too much space between teeth can make it hard to brush and floss, thus leading to decay and gum disease.

  2. Spacing

    Too much space between teeth. An aesthetic problem that can also compromise the effectiveness of chewing.

  3. Midline Discrepancy

    Center of upper and lower teeth are not aligned. Can be an indication of an improper bite, which can lead to further complications.

  4. Rotated

    Teeth are turned clockwise or counter-clockwise. Can make proper oral hygiene difficult and lead to tooth decay.

  5. Tipping

    Teeth tilt at an angle, or lean forward or backward. Can cause other teeth to shift, creating crowding (see above) and an improper bite.

  6. Intrusion/Extrusion

    Teeth sit too high or too low relative to their ideal position in the “smile line”. Can severely compromise chewing, and create wear on opposing teeth.
